Wall Street declines on Friday but posts decent gains on the week
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market closed Friday with losses as investors are cautious ahead the weekend and Ukraine. However, Wall Street finished a week with solid gains. The S&P rose to an intraday record before declining.
The Dow Jones declined 28.41 pts or 0.17% to finish the day at 16,302.64; The DJIA rose 1.48% in the week. The S&P 500 eased 42.50 pts or 0.98% in the day to 4,276.79; posting 0.74% weekly gains. The Nasdaq lost 5.61 points or 0.30% to finish the day at 1,866.40. The Composite fell 1.37% in the weekly basis.
